Course Details
This tactical/ Defensive carbine course designed by Military and Law Enforcement instructors to focus on fundamentals of Riflecraft. This course is designed to teach you to safely and effectively operate your carbine. You will learn marksmanship fundamentals and skills for defensive and tactical carbine use. This live fire course includes; firearms safety, weapons manipulation, zeroing, marksmanship fundamentals, shooting on the move and much more. Instructors are Military, Law Enforcement, NRA certified and insured. This course requires moderate physical fitness.
Gear required (contact for gear rental)
- AR or AK with at least 3 mags
- Red dot optic and sling
- 300-350 rounds of factory FMJ ammo (NO GREEN TIP/ STEEL CORE)
- Ear/Eye protection
- Close toed, athletic shoes or boots
Not required but recommended:
- Mag pouches and belt
- Chest rig/ plate carrier
- Spare optic batteries
- Shooting gloves
- Cleaning/ maintenance kit
- Hat
This is an all-day course, please bring plenty of water, drinks, lunch and snacks as needed. A camp chair isn’t a bad idea for breaks.
