Precision Training for Real-World Defense

Great classes with an awesome core group of instructors who focus on the individual development of each student. Practical, citizen oriented courses like what they teach are a must have in the armed capable citizens toolbox.

I have now taken Riflecraft 100 and Pistolcraft 100 with Billy and his team. Both classes were amazing. I am also signing up for their concealment class in November. All classes are advertised as beginner to intermediate.

Billy and his team are professional, respectful, extremely patient with novice shooters, highly trained, and most importantly, SAFE.

I proudly served as an Airborne Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne for 6 years with various deployments under my belt so I was hesitant whether or not I would learn anything. I left my ego at home and happily soaked up everything I was taught. 

I appreciate Billy and his teammates for everything they do for the 2A community.

I attended Billy 3 hour workshop.  I learned so much from him.
During breaks, he took time individually to help me & show me how to handle a gun safely.
I am signing up for his pisto100 class and hoping to have one on one class.

Training one on one with Billy was fantastic, unrushed, concise, and incredibly helpful! I absolutely would recommend the training to anyone looking to improve their firearm skills.

I attended the Concealed Carry and Pistol Craft 200 classes. Great info, knowledgeable instructors who are friendly and passionate about what they do. They care about their students and getting them equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves.

Took the class back in September one of the best things I ever did. Billy is a great instructor l learned alot. thank you Billy.

The class I took really boosted my confidence with my gun, with my accuracy and all over gun handling I have many areas to improve on and I know what they are thanks to Billy. Beyond grateful to have taken a class with him.

Great training with low student/instructor ratio. Billy and Frank keep up with the latest tactics and skills being used by our best fighters. They provide a safe and comfortable environment to hone your abilities.

Took a tactical carbine class with fieldcraft defense and it was an awesome class. Excellent techniques, very well executed with time for corrections, suggestions, and pointers on all kinds of things like stance, body posture, and a lot more that I had a blast learning. I can’t wait for the next class looking forward to train train train.

Billy Baxter is the ultimate instructor. He instills confidence where there was once fear. He gently provides the instruction needed to move to new levels of understanding the intricacies of self protection. We will definitely see you again! Thanks Billy!

Highly recommend! You can't go wrong when taking class from Field craft Defense!

I decided to take a 2 hour private lesson with Billy Baxter, to work on proper drawing techniques and target acquisition. Billy was great to work with, and had a lot of valuable advice. Within just two hours I was able to dial in my shot groupings considerably. Billy is a great, patient instructor, and I would highly recommend this course.

Took the concealed carry class yesterday! Billy and Frank did an EXCELLENT job of educating us on everything from general self defense, to the laws that will govern us, to the proper way to hold, carry, and store your weapon! And, they kept us engaged and entertained! Great job, guys! I'd recommend the class to all people of all levels who want to conceal carry.

If you haven’t taken a course with Fieldcraft Defense you’re really missing out on important knowledge, technique, shooting and gun education. Billy and his team are excellent. I highly recommend any of the courses!

Just took my second class with these guys and they are solid. The three instructors I have met have all been veterans and know what they are talking about. Though the classes were the 100 level they covered some high-speed concepts. The only negative thing I can think of is I wish there were more classes. Get some training and check these guys out.

The guys at Fieldcraft Defense were awesome instructors and really enjoyable to learn from. They care deeply about their craft and sharing their knowledge with others. I had never received instruction or training on Long-range shooting, and the made it simple. Jason and Billy are both solid professionals, and seemed to genuinely like teaching. Additionally the Cameo Range the taught at was the best range experience I’ve had. I highly Recommend these guys, and I’m signing up for a Pistol and Rifle course with them this year.

I had a great experience with the Fieldcraft guys, Billy and J are great instructors. They have patience, experience , and are always about safety. I took pistol craft 100, and I will be signing up for more advanced courses with them.

Billy is a fantastic instructor. I would highly recommend any course they offer. Their training is top notch with respectful and extremely knowledgeable/ professional instructors. Great range as well.

I took an intro rifle class with these fine gentleman. The class was very informative. The instructors were knowledgeable, professional, and efficient with time. The course is laid out in the safest way possible to learn complex rifle handling skills. I would take this class again in a heartbeat.

I have only had the pleasure of working with Billy, my wife and I did are concealed carry throw Feildcraft I will say I had great experience learning even learned lot I didn't know so I could be better prepared to have a license. I look forward to doing more classes with him to better expand my skill lever.

I am a member of an all-female group that has been meeting monthly with Billy for the past 2 years. I can't say enough about Billy and his methods of teaching. He truly goes above and beyond what you would expect from a teacher. Our classes are always educational, interesting & challenging. He is very professional at giving constructive feedback.. both positive and negative. We are highly motivated to improve and the confidence he has instilled in us is amazing. We are fortunate to have him here in Montrose.

I have participated in 5 or so training secessions with Fieldcraft and every one has been an AWESOME experience. I had been doing “tactical” shooting for many years so thought there was no reason to take a training course but am very glad I did. The professional experience these instructors have will increase your knowledge and abilities exponentially! Train to WIN with Fieldcraft Defense! You will not be sorry!
